Following another successful year for UK charities, The Big Give Christmas Challenge is now closed. The challenge ran over Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December, and competition to have online donations doubled was high!
The response from NCO supporters was incredible and they really took up the challenge, determined to have their donations doubled!
On both days, the match-funding was only available for a mere 5 minutes, but we are thrilled to say that we received £27,222 in online donations over the course of two days.
NCO’s grand total - including Gift Aid – is now at £52, 030.
We would like to express our most grateful thanks to each and every one of our supporters who donated online.
NCO was competing as part of the Matthew Bourne Fund. The sector has been established in honour of the world-renowned choreographer, Matthew Bourne OBE, and supports the performing arts and cultural projects taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge.
All money raised for NCO will go towards ensuring that the future of classical music remains in very safe hands – in those of our members, the UK’s most talented young musicians.
