Orchestral instruments

You can audition to become a member of the NCO on any orchestral instrument...

viola
cello
double bass
flute
oboe
clarinet
bassoon
French horn
trumpet
trombone
tuba
percussion
harp

We don't accept auditions on any other instrument.  Occasionally the Orchestra plays a piece of music with a part for another instrument, such as piano, saxophone or bass clarinet.  If this happens we ask one of the existing members to play the part.
