Audition venues

We are currently in the process of arranging the audition schedule for this autumn and the dates and venues should be on our website in late April or early May. Those auditions will be for membership of one of our orchestras in 2013.

We do hold ‘late’ auditions for applicants for the small number of vacancies left in the 2012 orchestras. These are usually held in the NCO office in Weston-super-Mare though there are occasional opportunities for auditions elsewhere. The only instruments for which there are vacancies (as at 15 February) are:

  • Violas (age 7 to 11 years old)
  • Double basses (age 7 to 9 years old)
  • Oboe(age 7 to 10 years old)
  • Trombone (age 7 to 10 years old)
  • Tuba (age 7 to 11 years old)
  • Percussion (age 10 to 11 years old)
  • Harps (aged 7 to 10 years old)

For further information about these vacancies please contact the NCO office: phone 01934 418855 or email us.
