Taking part
Every year the NCO tours the country to audition promising young musicians for our Orchestras. Auditions take place in October and successful candidates are then invited to the courses and concerts during the following year. Membership is for one year, after which children may audition again if they are still young enough.
Our audition process begins in May when application forms are sent out and made available on our website. Places for auditions are awarded on a first come first served basis, so we recommend you send your application in as soon as possible.
