MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL CHILDREN’S ORCHESTRA

£65,000 - £70,000 plus benefits

The Board of Governors has recently established the new post of Managing Director to bring strategic vision, leadership and direction to the NCO, helping to raise its profile and reputation as a world-class training orchestra nationally and internationally and to develop its activities and reach.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior manager in the arts or cultural sector with a proven track record of successfully leading an organisation through significant change. Experience in fundraising and marketing, business acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of the orchestral repertoire and the ability to lead and enthuse teams, particularly in working with children, are all essential for this position.
