Support
We have big ambitions to reach every talented child in the country, regardless of background, and to really raise the bar for classical music-making in the UK. If this is something you feel strongly about and would like to encourage then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for support on many different levels, so if you feel you can and would like to be involved please explore our website for more information.

To provide all the courses, concerts and other NCO opportunities costs us £1 million a year. A large part is covered by parents who are asked to contribute towards the cost of their child’s participation, wherever possible. However, we recognise that this is unaffordable for many parents and so we offer bursaries up to the full fees if needed and considerable subsidies on each place to around 80% of the participants.
The NCO is dependent on the support of trusts, individuals and businesses. This year we need to raise £350,000 to support our ongoing activity and our bursary scheme, to ensure that future generations of children will continue to develop personally and musically within the unique environment that our world-class children’s orchestra provides.
The National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain is a registered charity, number 803026. For more information on our charitable status please visit our listing on the Charity Commission website.
