ENCORE

ENCORE is an orchestra for those NCO members who just don't want the NCO experience to end.

ENCORE - or Exclusive NCO Retired Ex-members - allows ex-NCOers to get together again to relive that NCO experience. There are no auditions - as ex-members we already know you've got what it takes - but you still get the course, the excellent tuition and the concert at the end.

ENCORE is open to anyone who has previously been a member of Main Orchestra or the Under 13 Orchestra, the year of membership does not matter. However, in order to enjoy all aspects of the course, we strongly recommend that participants are at least 14-years-old.

Repertoire depends on the size of the orchestra and instrumentation, but usually includes a variety of well-known and challenging music. As always with NCO courses the social side is very important too and a range of activities are available, including off-site trips. You'll make lots of new friends as well as being able to renew old friendships.

The courses are run by an experienced team of music, social and senior staff.
